The winners of the 2016 People’s Choice voting poll for the Great Lakes Christian Film Festival.
Our People’s Choice winners were almost all nominees for our regular festival nominations. GO LUCY GO was a fan favorite and PC for Documentary [short]. The PC for Short Film [over 20 minutes] was IN BETWEEN which also took home other festival awards.

What an awesome event we had in 2016. Over 100 films were screened with record attendance. Next year we plan to go even bigger as we explore a larger facility for our fast growing festival. Get your film in early and get the best price possible.

A troubled teen is taken on an unbelievable journey through time by an angelic guide to experience the true story of Christmas and discover his own story of redemption.

The inspiring and true story of a Midwestern basketball family that, with God’s help, stayed in the game and won. When promising high school basketball player Eric “Hoovey” Elliott collapses on the court, doctors discover a life-threatening brain tumor. Hoovey will survive the high-risk surgery, but at what cost? Can he relearn to walk, read, even to see clearly? The road is long, and meanwhile overwhelming medical bills threaten to undo everything his parents, Jeff and Ruth, have taken a lifetime to build.
