Come meet ‘Canada’s Horse Whisperer’ Lindsey Partridge with her horses ‘Bowdrie’ and ‘Here Comes Adri’ (Blizz) – Bowdrie will perform a few tricks. You can snap a picture with Lindsey and these beautiful horses. Lindsey is representing the film Unbridled for the Great Lakes Christian Film Festival, located at the parking lot of Millennium Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave, Buffalo, NY 14225, on Friday August 4th at 10am – 11 am.

Lindsey Partridge is coming to Buffalo to help promote the film ‘Unbridled’ which features herself and two of her horses in the film. Lindsey is an international champion known for her work with retraining retired racehorses. Two years in a row she has won at the Thoroughbred Makeover – a competition in Kentucky where hundreds of trainers come to compete with their newly retrained racehorse. The purpose of the makeover is to give the retired racehorses a second career. The horses compete different disciplines including jumping, trail, dressage, and freestyle.

Lindsey is the only trainer to ever have won finalist titles with all of her Thoroughbreds at the makeover. Her 2015 champion, Soar, is featured in the film Unbridled. She is also the founder of Harmony Horsemanship, a training technique that uses positive reinforcement and learning to understand the human horse relationship.

The film Unbridled is based on a real ranch where troubled teenage girls are paired with rescued horses so they can both find happiness. In the film, Lindsey and her horse are featured, as well Lindsey is the owner and trainer of the star horse ‘Dreamer.’ ‘Unbridled‘ will be screening Friday Aug 4th, 2017 at 8pm, making it’s Buffalo Premiere at the Great Lakes Christian Film Festival.

Lindsey will be visiting with her two Thoroughbreds that will be competing at this year’s 2018 makeover. Bowdrie is a 9 yr old gelding that raced more than 50 times. Lindsey purchased him through an auction. Her other horse, Here Comes Adri, is a 6yr old mare that Lindsey acquired through a Thoroughbred Adoption program called Turning for Home.
