This powerful film is a true story about the struggles and challenges first responders face and the toll it takes on their lives. Filled with talented performances and beautiful cinematography, Break Every Chain, by Tim Searfoss, gives us a glimpse into the challenges of being a police officer. First responders have a higher rate of suicide and PTSD due to what they experience on a daily basis, and the film offers answers and hope.

In the award winning book about the true story of Jonathan Hickory, a veteran police officer, shares his intimate perspective into the struggle that many of our heroes battle in their hearts.

Drowning in the depths of depression and sadness, burning with anger, and chained down by alcoholism, Jonathan couldn’t do it anymore. After the loss of his father as a young boy, facing countless horrific death scenes in the line of duty, and the death of his son, Jonathan turned to the world for answers—finding only darkness. Facing the threat of losing his job as a police officer, the loss of his wife and daughter, and contemplating suicide, Jonathan turns to faith and finds hope and redemption.
