This documentary short features Tzi Wei Wong, who’s entire family died from disease and starvation during the Cambodian genocide*. Tzi Wei expresses how freedom and solace can be found in Jesus Christ even in the face of such devastating loss and upheaval.
* Led by Pol Pot, the Khmer Rouge genocide was responsible for the deaths of up to 2,000,000 Cambodians, nearly a quarter of the country’s population, during the “killing field” era between 1975-1979.
